Bob Biggs is the Vice President of Finance for the Eastern Group of Waste Management, Inc., which covers the 13 northeast states from Virginia to New England. In this role, he is responsible for managing the financial operations and supporting the strategic operations planning for this geography. The Eastern Group represents about $ 3.3 Billion in revenue and about 3.0 Million industrial, commercial and residential customers.

Bob joined Waste Management in 1988 as an Assistant Regional Controller. He then moved into the positions of VP & Region Controller for the Mountain & Eastern Regions and then VP & Area Controller for the Eastern and Mid-Atlantic Groups. In these positions, Bob implemented and managed all corporate-based programs including, treasury, financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, accounting & management reporting. He directed financial reviews, acquisitions & divestitures, major capital projects and executive negotiations.

Prior to joining Waste Management, he was a partner at the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Company.

Bob received both his Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from Wichita State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is licensed in the state of Washington.

Bob and his wife Maggie live in Washington Crossing, PA with their three children Sean, Steven and Sara. He is currently a board member for the Have a Heart Foundation. The Biggs' were raised in Kansas and work related relocations have taken them to the Tulsa, Seattle, Denver, Boston and Philadelphia areas.
